Akkodis is seeking an Automotive Dealer Consultant with a client located in Plymouth MI.
Looking for someone:
Who can thrive in a hotline environment, taking orders over the phone and accurately inputting them into the ERP system.
The role involves selling capital equipment to dealerships and handling a variety of tasks via email. Strong time management skills are essential, as the consultant must remain logged into the phone system while balancing other responsibilities.
The position also requires working with suppliers, coordinating delivery dates, and ensuring effective communication to fulfill orders efficiently.
Pay Range: $22/hr - $25/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Must be able to work 100% onsite in Plymouth for at least 3 months. After they are trained, they can go to a hybrid schedule which is 2 days a week in the office.

Monday- Friday: 9 am - 6 pm EST
Training Mon - Fri: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST (In Plymouth, for 5-6 weeks).
JOB SUMMARY:
Primary Responsibilities:
The Auto Dealer Consultant will work in a fast-paced, call-center-like environment,not a true call center with key responsibilities including:
Order Processing & Customer Support: Handle calls and emails to process orders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Sales & Quoting: Provide quotes for equipment, including discounts, and assist with sales and purchase order creation within the ERP system.
Supplier Coordination: Manage 87 suppliers to coordinate delivery dates, changes, returns, and quotes.
Technical Assistance: Provide expertise on equipment identification and application.
Financial Assistance: Address customer concerns about financial aspects of orders.
Team Collaboration: Support the field sales force and contribute to team goals.
SLA Compliance: Ensure timely response to customer inquiries to meet service-level agreements.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Training: Full-time, in-person training for 5-6 weeks at the Plymouth office, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Post-Training: Hybrid role with 2 days in-office (Thursdays required) and 3 days remote.
Fast-Paced Role: Multi-tasking and prioritization are essential to manage high call volumes and emails efficiently.
Required Experience and Skills:
Experience: 4-5 years in a customer service role, preferably in automotive, and call center experience.
Skills: Strong communication, computer proficiency, and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Customer Service: Ability to handle routine and complex customer issues.
Technical Aptitude: Basic mechanical understanding to assist with technical queries.
Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate and contribute to team success.
Additional Requirements:
High School diploma required; Bachelor's in Automotive preferred.
MS Office and SAP or any other ERP system proficiency is required.
