How the Role Fits In:The Project Process Engineer is accountable forsoliciting input from technical, operations,maintenance and other Stakeholders andappropriately incorporating it into Process DesignPackages that meet Business and ProjectObjectives.The Project Process Engineer orchestrates thevarious engineering disciplines involved in theprocess design throughout the FEL phases. This roledrives the alternatives analysis and selection,generates investment economics, completes theProcess Design, acts as a resource during detailedengineering and construction, and activelyparticipates in the prestartup and startupactivities.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREDEducation/Experience Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineeringrequired Min. 10 years of experience working in apetrochemical plant, refinery, etc.Skills/Competencies Candidate will be well versed in industry codes,standards, and requirements (ANSI, API, ASME,NFPA, PIP, OSHA, ISA, etc.) Proficient with Aspen+, Hysys, AFT Fathom,Pipenet, and EPCON Suite or similar software. Ability to read and understand standardengineering drawings and calculations Experience working stage gate capital projectprocess on owner side Experience with boiler feed water treatmentsystems, waste treatment, and traditionalpetrochemical processes. Working knowledge of process control andinstrumentation hardware. Experience with various types of rotating andfixed equipment and designs thereof.
