What will you be doing?


You will leverage your passion for research and strong analytical skills to drive the adoption and advancement of Circana's consumer and shopper solutions. The Consultant will serve as the subject matter expert in Consumer & Shopper Insights; collaborating client's and internal teams to add value by applying insights gleaned from Circana data sets including household purchase behavior, surveys, and other custom research projects. The ability to craft and present a compelling story based on solid analytical insight is a key requirement of this position.

In this position you will utilize your strong client engagement and proactive business development skills to uncover ad-hoc consulting opportunities that grow Circana's engagement and create value for our client. Experience delivering consumer insights via scan panels and/or receipt panels is required with experience in survey, segmentation, market structure and testing methodologies highly preferred.

Further role details leading to Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare topline Circana sales information to share out to key client contacts; with the ability to interpret data and turn it into meaningful insights.
  • Participate and prepare relevant analyses based on key client business questions/initiatives.
  • Drive revenue opportunities by identifying key Circana solutions that
  • Create impactful presence by determining effort and resources to meet objectives, plans, and managing resources to ensure task completion that meets client expectations
  • This role also has 1 direct report, Client Insights Analyst



Job Responsibilities

  • You will "own" the client relationship for certain Client business units/verticals, offering your perspective while supporting the client and other members of the team with analytics and deliverables. Owning relationship means fully understanding the client's business, leading discussions around client business issues, aligning custom Circana's Consumer & Shopper solutions to those issues, writing proposals when necessary, and managing the research plan to deliver valuable client insights.
  • You will lead, and oversee Circana Consumer & Shopper Insights projects both within Unify scope and outside of Unify scope (including, but not limited to Custom Panel, Survey/Segmentation, and Innovation projects).
  • You will serve as an expert within the Consumer & Shopper Center of Excellence, which includes educating both clients and other team members on the analysis and interpretation of consumer data.
  • Drive training and adoption of Circana's CSI tools, including Receipt Panel, Scan Panel and ShopperSights across the client's cross-functional departments with a focus on driving usage and providing incremental insights from the solutions.
  • Proactively relate consumer insights to category/industry trends to identify and quantify client business opportunities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment - track and organize multiple work streams against multiple client stakeholders and manage time and resources against changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal communication and presentation skills including regular and proactive communication with the internal and client teams while presenting the highest professional image at all times.
  • Consistently delight the client and act with client satisfaction in mind, following through on commitments to ensure their needs are met.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5- 10 years of experience working in consumer insights, CPG research and/or consulting.
  • Proficiency in the utilization of POS Data, Unify+, and the delivery of insight through Circana's best-in-class templates.
  • Experience with internal and external client training on POS and technology platforms; including methodology, data, and insights.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and an aptitude towards synthesizing data from multiple sources to develop meaningful insights, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Strong client management skills and the poise and ability to work with and present to client's organization.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently leveraging local and remote resources.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled at presenting technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote - Minneapolis, MN area preferred

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $90 - $105K

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
