Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Sr. Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN for a 12-month contract. This role involves designing and developing innovative software solutions using a variety of technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and demonstrate new features and components for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with technical, business, and product teams to ensure code meets their vision.
- Develop efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
- Enhance and maintain on-premises applications and migrate them to AWS.
- Implement serverless patterns from containerized applications.
- Build and manage industry-standard APIs.
- Design and implement architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost.
- Promote a culture of software craftsmanship including TDD/BDD and Test Automation.
- Drive performance improvements and ensure adherence to security standards.
- Engage in Agile software development activities and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support rotation as needed.
- Proficiency in AWS, Java, Microservices, Rest API, and Spring Boot.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Java, Full-stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python development.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
- Skilled in writing and designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Wire Mock, Mockito, Postman, REST Assured, and Cypress.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Circle CI.
- Experience with AWS Cloud serverless components and building cloud data processing systems.
- Experience in relational and object databases and web service development standards.
- Experience in an agile development environment using tools like VersionOne/Agility.
- Strong troubleshooting, deployment, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Experience creating test reports using tools like cucumber report and Extent report.
- Experience with OpenShift and working knowledge of MQ.
- AWS Certification.
- DevOps and automation experience in code testing, building, and deployment.
- Experience in the airline industry.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and HP-UX operating systems.
