Job Description:

SUMMARY



A Functional Consultant helps the client implement and optimize business solutions. Responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring the system to meet business needs, and ensuring that the solutions align with the client's scope and goals.


Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS




KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Collaborates with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and objectives. Analyzes business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system configuration.


Configures and customizes systems or processes based on business requirements. Develops and maintains documentation for system design, configurations, and business process flows. Provides functional specifications for custom development or integrations with other systems.


Oversees the implementation of the solution to ensure it aligns with the defined requirements. Works closely with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure functional specifications are implemented correctly. Provides guidance and support during the testing phases to ensure the solution meets business needs.


Works with clients to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to optimize system performance.


Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and process flows. Reports on project progress, risks, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
