The Software Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing automated testing frameworks, developing test cases, and writing code to enhance software testability. This role facilitates seamless integration of quality assurance into the software development lifecycle, supporting rapid and reliable software delivery.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, execute, and maintains complex test cases to ensure the system functions according to requirements and document defects with supporting documentation.

  • Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.

  • Provide daily status updates and risks/issues for test script execution.

  • Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.

  • Create test approaches and understanding how a system works and ensure that test plans properly align with business requirements and are kept up to date.

  • Analyze moderate to complex problems to determine the root cause of the issue and conduct tests that will help in duplicating or troubleshooting.



Minimum Qualifications:


  • BS/BA in computer science or related technology discipline and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance testing experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of software test automation experience

  • Must have demonstrated experience with REST API testing.

  • Demonstrated experience testing with Postman preferred.

  • Prior banking and or financial services industry experience working with financial systems preferred.

  • Must have experience in UI automation and API automation.

  • Must be proficient with the latest OS, Microsoft Office products, Test Case Management Tools & Defect Tracking Tools.

  • Must have strong knowledge of Quality Assurance/ Engineering methodologies and practices.

  • Must have experience with Information Technology, Systems Analysis, and Business applications.

  • Must have experience with Agile & Waterfall Development methodologies and processes.

  • Must have experience in Java programming language to build test automation script.

  • Must have experience in Selenium, Cucumber, TestNg, Rest Assured and GIT.

  • Must have experience with automation testing frameworks (Page Object Model).

  • Must have hands-on Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps is preferred to enable test automation pipeline.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that involve internal and external customers regarding complex policies, procedures, or programs are a must.

  • Must have the ability to interact with senior leaders, adapting style as needed for technical or non-technical audiences, to communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.

  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A high sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple issues through resolution is a must.

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, extremely adaptable, and able to prioritize many tasks.

  • Must be proactive, not a reactive approach to tasks.

  • Must have strong debugging/analytical skills.
