Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday



Rate: Starting at $19.00/hourly



Top Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant's practice.


• Operate diagnostic equipment, remove staples from superficial wounds, change wound dressings, obtain cultures, administer non-intravenous medication, perform simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques, collect blood specimens via venipuncture, and perform EKGs.


• Conduct quality control checks on equipment.


• Prepare and sterilize medical equipment using an autoclave.


• Room patients according to policy and procedures, and prepare patients for examination.


• Accurately and timely record patient care documentation in the medical record.


• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies.


• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and treat patients with courtesy and respect.


• Organize exam and treatment rooms, stock and clean rooms, and sterilize equipment.


• Practice standard infection control precautions.


• Support and follow Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO).


• Perform all related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Medical Assistant certification.


• High school diploma or GED.


• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.


• Preferred Skills/Attributes:


• Experience with geriatric patients.


• Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks).


• Excellent phlebotomy skills.


• Experience in handling referrals and authorizations.
