Job Title: SCADA Consultant II


Work Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)


Duration: 12+ month contract with potential to convert to FTE



Role Overview:


This role is part of an operational support team, focusing on day-to-day operations rather than project-based work.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Addressing operational issues and troubleshooting

• Collaborating with the vendor (GE) to triage issues

• Investigating the issue log and resolving outstanding issues when there are no immediate concerns

• Training and learning new skills during downtime

• Supporting transmissions, commercial operations, and other partners using their systems, acting as the first point of contact

• Working within a team of 6 full-time employees and 1 contractor

• Potential involvement in some project-based work, though primarily focused on daily operations



Must-Haves:

• Experience: Level: 3-5 years of experience

• Technical Skills: Experience supporting an EMS environment (preferably GE SCADA products, specifically XA/21, but training available for other systems)

• Knowledge of RTU and ICCP. Familiarity with utilities industry applications



Preferred Qualifications:

• NERC-CIP certification
