Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

Location: New York (Buffalo), New Hampshire (Portsmouth) or Illinois (Chicago)
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000+ (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses and benefits
Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a strong engineering background to join our team at a leading multinational construction company. With approximately 15 years of experience, you will manage and oversee high-profile, large-scale demolition, maintenance, and repair projects, with a focus on chimneys (both concrete and metal), silos, domes, tanks, and the demolition of tall structures. Your role will be crucial both in reaching out clients looking for new opportunities and in ensuring the successful completion of these projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. As part of a global team, you'll work on complex, innovative projects, many of which involve the specialized demolition and reparation of industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage demolition, maintenance, and repair projects for concrete and metal chimneys, silos, domes, tanks, and demolition of tall structures. Ensure all project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate teams of engineers, subcontractors, and vendors specializing in the demolition and restoration of these structures to achieve project milestones. Ensure effective communication across all teams and stakeholders, both locally and globally.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control, and timely billing. Identify and mitigate cost overruns, and track financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contract Negotiation: Ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Cost Estimation: Accurate estimation of project costs, including materials, labor, and overheads, to create realistic budgets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or management role. Strong engineering background with experience in demolition, erection, and repair of concrete and metal chimneys, silos, domes, tanks, and other high industrial structures.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, managing both technical experts and project teams to success.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and senior leadership across multiple regions.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonuses ranging from 10% to 25% of base salary.
