The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Customer Relations Specialist to join the Government Operations, Global Public Policy and Corporate Strategy team at Boeing's Global Headquarters in Arlington, VA.

In this role, you will play an integral part in enhancing customer and stakeholder engagement by supporting key relationships, resolving complex issues, and improving overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners and vendors.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate customer visits and events onsite at Boeing's Global Headquarters, managing all logistics, communications, protocol, and business courtesies in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team (e.g., facilities, communications, IT, security, transportation, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead a portfolio of sponsored external engagements with key non-profit partners, supporting strategic engagement opportunities for Boeing executives and leaders that promotes stakeholder relationships and reinforces Boeing's community partnerships and outreach.
  • Manage hospitality assets, including tickets at sporting/entertainment venues, performance ticket banks, venue rentals, executive gifting, etc.
  • Develop and execute, in conjunction with Boeing Global Engagement, employee-engagement events.
  • Interface regularly with senior executives to communicate customer feedback, provide strategic insights, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collect, integrate and disseminate event information to all stakeholders through various communication methods (e.g., Web, printed materials, presentations and emails) to ensure effective project management of major events and activities.
  • Research and evaluate potential venues (including site inspections if required) and make recommendations of preferred venue or site for customer needs.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of events, including rectifying expenses (e.g., expense reports and invoices), negotiating and managing vendor relationships, submitting guest details, developing guest communications, and maintaining accurate records.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience managing event spaces and/or planning conferences or other major meetings/events, ideally in high-end hospitality, non-profit and/or political campaigns
  • Experience working with C-suite executives, international and government officials
  • Willing to occasionally travel domestically, work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends for planned events

  • Government protocol knowledge
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, high attention to detail and follow-up, and excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional work ethic and proven track record of high integrity and personal initiative, along with a creative and problem-solving mindset and approach
  • Capability to deliver high quality results in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to actively anticipate and respond to future needs

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $85,000 - $115,000
