The Freeman Center is the focal point for Christopher Newport University's indoor sport and recreation and health and wellness services and initiatives, while providing a place for the University community to meet and for students to perform. The goal for this facility is to offer an increased edge for our "indoor" athletic teams during Conference and NCAA competition, support the personal development and well-being of the members of the university community, and expand the reach of the University to the local, regional and national spotlight.
Reporting to the Building Manager of the Freeman Center and Pope Chapel, this position will assist the department with the primary oversite of the student personnel; along with developing and maintaining the various inventory, databases, and technology needs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
