The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, in partnership with the Children's Hospital of New Orleans (CHNOLA), is seeking a full-time academic pediatric pulmonologist to join our faculty group. Our team works closely with the pediatric pulmonology division at the LSU Health Sciences sharing clinical services at CHNOLA.
The Department of Pediatrics at Tulane is committed to providing excellence in education, clinical care, and research. The selected candidate will become actively involved in all aspects of teaching including training medical students and residents. CHNOLA is a 224-bed, not-for-profit regional medical center offering the most advanced pediatric care to children from birth to 21 years. With more than 400 physicians trained in more than 40 subspecialties, it is the only full-service hospital exclusively for children in Louisiana and the Gulf South.
As a University employed faculty member, you will receive a negotiable salary commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package, and relocation allowance.
The successful candidate will have strong clinical background in pediatrics pulmonology, possess leadership ability; have a strong interest in research and clinical education, and strive for excellence in patient care. He or she must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, have a solid foundation of operational experience, a proven research record with significant publications, and contribute to the overall mission of the department and the school.
