Warehouse Helper/Drywall Scrapper at Installed Building Products in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Load & unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
• Assist in inventory tracking and counting processes
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Remove drywall scraps from jobs after hanging is complete
• Install protective paper over floors after drywall scraps are removed
• Dispose of drywall scraps at drop-off site
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have a valid drivers license
• previous experience in a warehouse or construction environment preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands:


The physical demands of a warehouse worker include lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching frequently. The worker must be able to perform tasks that involve climbing ladders or stairs, as well as operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong manual dexterity is required for handling equipment and performing detailed tasks. Workers must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
