Accountant at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Portland, Oregon

Job Description:

Are you a skilled accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy? If so, we want to hear from you! Ledgent is partnering with a well-established company in the Portland area, looking to add an accountant to their team. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to $75K.


Responsibilities:
- Manage invoice processing, review vendor statements, and handle AR invoicing and payment applications
- Oversee daily cash operations, including transaction entries, fraud management, and reconciliations
- Perform month and year-end reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Analyze key financial reports, including cash flow, and G&A budgets


Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of month and year-end close processes, as well as reconciliations
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors
