We are looking for a Certified Payroll Administrator to work from our administrative office located in Spring Valley, CA. Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Certified Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the weekly payroll processing of both certified and non-certified payroll.

The Certified Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Essential Functions:
Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee's hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
Review all personnel files for accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Maintain G/L distributions in all earnings and deduction coding.
Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, garnishments and other deductions.
Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
Stay current with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees, such as paycheck discrepancies or tax withholding concerns.
Collaborate with Accounting and Administration teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of payroll issues.
Prepares and submits all non-certified & Certified Payroll Reports in compliance with contracts.
Collect weekly Certified Payroll Reports from all subcontractors.
Track all documents and log: Certified Payroll Reports per each contract and subcontract.
Update Certified Payroll Reports on official websites per the general contract for subcontractors.
File and archive all Certified Payroll Reports including subcontractors.
Responds to inquiries from various government agencies.
Prints Checks and files various reports weekly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent /college degree or related coursework.
1 - 2+ years of Construction accounting or payroll experience required.
Experience preparing certified payroll reports
Working knowledge of LCP Tracker, DIR eCPR, PRISM & navigating and understanding DIR PW determinations.
Working knowledge of certified payroll and labor compliance
General knowledge of the various disciplines and procedures utilized by the Construction industry.
Strong Customer Service.
Professional communication and appearance.
