SUMMARY: This position is responsible for processing and reconciling all payroll related information within the Complex and transmitting the information to Corporate Payroll; responsible for filing and maintaining documents per policy and other duties as deemed necessary; must be detail oriented and able to work within a deadline oriented position on a weekly basis; must be self-motivated and able to work independently without constant direct supervision; must be able to spot errors and correct work on a timely basis.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.


• Experience: 3 plus years of related experience.


• Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills using Excel Word and Outlook including using a Tyson Business Computer System an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. SAP Payroll experience is preferred not required.


• Communication Skills: Work actives are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others and making sure Tyson policies are followed. Attention to details and meeting deadlines must be a priority. Preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated they are driven to succeed motivated to win and desire to be a part of a winning team.


• Special Skills: Good organizational skills interpersonal skills and good problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a multi-task and deadline-focused environment, ability to work independently and take initiative, while exhibiting teamwork.
