Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role will involve supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to drive business decisions and ensure financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a product based industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
