To date, the company has developed and brought into commercial operation over 80 solar projects, totaling an aggregate generating capacity of approximately 1.2 GW. The developer, poised for significant growth following recent funding, is seeking to hire a dynamic and versatile Finance Manager.

Overview:
The Finance Manager, who will report to the VP of Project Finance, will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations, with a focus on project finance, M&A, and revenue contract origination.
This role requires managing a broad set of finance workstreams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals, working closely with the Development, FP&A, Accounting, and Legal teams to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights for high-level decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, review, and maintain complex financial models utilizing various capital structures.
Support the structuring and raising of debt and tax equity for large-scale solar and storage projects, including overseeing specific due diligence workstreams.
Evaluate and analyze project acquisition opportunities, assist in structuring and pricing acquisitions, and prepare project bid packages.
Support the origination of revenue contracts and lead analysis to inform pricing and structuring decisions.
Collaborate with legal and development teams to ensure that financial models accurately reflect regulatory and permitting assumptions.
Prepare financial analyses and board presentations, providing comprehensive overviews of projects to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure that financial resources are aligned with project milestones, identifying risks that could delay financial close or construction.
Execute ad-hoc research and analysis to assess new technologies, markets, and financing structures.
Skills and Qualities:

Education/Professional Experience
Proven track record in a utility-scale development firm and/or financial institution (Investment Banking, Project Finance Banking, Private Equity/Credit), or a similar role.
4-8 years of experience in finance, working with renewable energy, power markets, or general infrastructure projects.
A 4-year degree is required.
Familiarity with financing instruments, including debt (construction, term, revolving facilities) and tax credit monetization (tax equity, tax credit transfer).
Experience in the renewable energy industry, with a strong understanding of project development, financing, and regulatory frameworks.
Knowledge of financial modeling and solar economics
