Our client is hiring three experienced Quality Engineers to join our expanding team. What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain quality procedures, sampling plans, and inspection protocols.
Analyze data, prepare quality reports, and drive measurable improvements.
Review engineering drawings to identify key characteristics and critical items.
Inspect and test products to meet rigorous aerospace standards.
Participate in MRB, FAIs, Change Boards, and internal audits.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Maintain QMS documentation compliant with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.
Audit suppliers, manage performance, and support supplier development.
Provide training and foster a culture of quality ownership and accountability.
Ensure compliance with IPC-620, WHMA-A-620C, J-STD-001, and other aerospace standards.
Focus Area Expertise:
Metal Fabrication Quality Engineers:
Aerospace/Military heavy metal fabrication
Precision machining with strong GD&T experience
AS9102 First Article Inspection expertise
Skilled in reading 2D/3D prints
Supplier quality development and audit experience
Electrical/Electronics Quality Engineers:
Aerospace electrical and electronic assembly background
Experience with wire harnesses and electronic assemblies
Deep familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in aerospace or defense quality engineering
Deep knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO-based quality systems
Proficient with GD&T, CAD or CATIA, and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of IPC-620, WHMA-A-620C, J-STD-001
Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
Frequent walking, standing, and hands-on interaction with production and inspection teams
Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, and color vision
Must be able to lift and move items over 25 lbs occasionally
Travel:
Minimal travel expected, but occasional domestic or international travel may occur
