In this pivotal role, you will oversee the reliability lifecycle of our products, spanning from concept through design, development, manufacturing, field operations, and returns. The Senior Reliability Engineer will be responsible for implementing Design for Reliability (DFR) tools to enhance reliability at every stage of product development, ensuring alignment with program Reliability goals as outlined in the Reliability Program Plan (RPP).
Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000/annum with benefits; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate and contribute in all phases of product development, production implementation, advanced problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Accountable for all assigned Reliability Engineering deliverables from concept through production.
Execute all Advanced Quality Planning and designing for reliability activities for complex, simultaneous product programs.
Understand consumer requirements in support of developing functional engineering requirements and tests that validate product and process robustness.
Facilitate Hardware Design, Software Design, Service, and Process FMEA sessions to drive reliable design choices and improve validation test planning.
Establish Quality and Reliability Plan requirements for components, assemblies, subsystems, and Systems.
Analyze usage and environmental conditions from the field to improve requirement setting and testing methods.
Create Fault Trees and reliability block diagrams to assess system reliability.
Develop accelerated test methods to explore failure modes and grow reliability.
Develop reliability validation plans for components, assemblies, sub-systems, and systems.
Facilitate failure analysis to understand root cause and drive resolution for failures originating in testing and from the field.
Work with manufacturing quality, service engineering, supplier quality and design teams to facilitate field failure resolution.
Conduct in-depth Life Data Analyses (aka Weibull) to support all investigations.
Provide reliability design guidelines and apply reliability lessons learned to enable continuous improvement.
Effective troubleshooting and Root cause analysis (RCA) of field issues
Qualify lab test samples meet requirements utilizing statistical tools.
Mentor other engineers in the organization on practical application of Reliability methodologies.
Manage Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective action system (FRACAS) and facilitate FRACAS program management with CAPA, MRB, Field Trial Warranty, Production Warranty, and CDT&R teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor of Science in Materials Science/Physics and 8+ years (preferred) of relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated data-driven and analytical problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience working with and improving the reliability of complex electro-mechanical systems.
Demonstrated application of Design for Reliability (DFR) tools leading to improvement of hardware design
Hands-on knowledge of Reliability data analysis tools, including Weibull++, RGA, xFMEA, or other similar software packages.
Working knowledge of applied statistics and experience with statistical software such as JMP and Minitab.
Understanding of quality and reliability monitoring metrics and reliability KPIs.
Knowledge of reliability warranty analysis and reliability prediction methods.
Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy, SEM, CSAM, X-ray, cross-sectioning, and EDX.
ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer certification is desirable but not necessary.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer/Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification is desirable but not necessary.
