About the Role We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling the infrastructure behind our innovative platform. What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
Build and optimize data pipelines to efficiently handle large datasets.
Develop and integrate web APIs for seamless communication across services.
Implement low-latency programming techniques to ensure high system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Provision infrastructure using tools like Terraform and set up monitoring to maintain system reliability.
Continuously improve existing code to boost performance and maintainability.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience with Python and Go in a production environment.
Proven track record of designing and managing data pipelines and integrations.
Strong understanding of web APIs, performance tuning, and low-latency programming.
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Bonus Points:
Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of data processing systems (e.g., Spark, Airflow).
Background in building systems for high-traffic applications.
