The Technical Engineer will be responsible for supporting dust suppression, washdown, clean sweep, collection, and conveyor systems. The role involves tailoring technologies to meet client-specific needs, including designing pump and piping systems, as well as control systems for motor controls, variable frequency drives, and programmable controllers.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for dust suppression, washdown systems, and clean sweep technologies, ensuring customer requirements and budget constraints are met.
Oversee project timelines, scope, and budgets from initiation through completion, ensuring successful system installations and upgrades.
Conduct site visits to evaluate dust issues and propose effective system solutions.
Design control systems for technologies, including power distribution, motor controls, relay/timer logic, and programmable controllers, ensuring seamless integration. Select components that align with system objectives and develop wiring diagrams and component layouts.
Develop and review project proposals, including scope, installation specs, pricing, preliminary designs, and drawings to ensure alignment with client needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment across departments.
Assist Operations with 3D point cloud scanning for transfer chute designs and support system implementations.
Support Estimating in equipment design, costing, and proposal preparation.
Drive the development of new products, from concept and prototype to engineering, testing, installation, and training, and educate the sales team on new product offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
2+ of relevant engineering or technical project management experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; AutoCAD or other design software knowledge is a plus.
Proven ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing technical environment.
