We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of a real-time ultrasound imaging platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development principles, and an interest in real-time image processing and medical device software. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and research-driven environment, collaborating with an innovative team of engineers to enhance ultrasound imaging technology for healthcare applications.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components for our ultrasound imaging system, including (but not limited to) image acquisition and processing support, user interface development, and device control and communication.
Work alongside engineering and hardware teams to implement software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to software documentation.
Participate in code reviews and debugging to enhance software reliability.
Support the integration of real-time processing algorithms into the imaging system.
Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, HIPAA).
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in Java/Kotlin (Android), C++, and/or Python.
Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a collaborative, research-driven environment.
Experience with real-time systems, embedded software, or image processing is a plus.
Passion for developing new and innovative healthcare technologies.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
