Tiello has partnered with a Leading Commercial General Contractor here in the Oklahoma City, OK area on their search for a Lead Superintendent to oversee a mixed portfolio of Commercial, Education, Casino, and Healthcare construction projects up to $30 Million here in Oklahoma.
The Superintendent will be the company representative and will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.
Project Types: Commercial, Education, Casino, and Healthcare
Duties & Responsibilities:
Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
Oversee & Manage the project schedules and budgets
Oversee, Develop, and Maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
Work with the Superintendent to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures
Manage project deliverables
Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of Construction experience in the commercial, higher education, or healthcare construction spaces completing projects up to $20 million in value.
Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
Microsoft Projects, Excel, Word, and Procore preferred.
