Project Manager

Direct Hire / Permanent Position

Onsite Position: Haskris, IL

Non-Traveling Role

Target Starting Salary: $100,000-$125,000/year (+Bonus)

Position Overview:
  • You will lead the planning and execution of turnkey installations of our industrial and commercial cooling and chiller systems at customer sites.
  • This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including coordination of internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget project completion.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for installation projects and play a critical role in maintaining their reputation for high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the complete turnkey installation process for their products, from project kickoff through commissioning and customer handover.
  • Coordinate all phases of project execution, including planning, scheduling, procurement, installation, testing, and closeout.
  • Serve as the main liaison between customers, internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, service), and external contractors.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
  • Lead site assessments and pre-installation planning, including coordination of utilities, equipment delivery, rigging, and site preparation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep installations on track.
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors and third-party service providers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure successful system startup, testing, commissioning, and customer training.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, issues, and resolutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance installation processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience managing equipment installation projects, preferably in industrial or medical equipment sectors.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, cooling/chiller equipment, HVAC, or related technologies preferred.
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
