A growing aerospace company is looking for a Sr. EHS Manager tasked with developing, managing, and implementing all appropriate safety programs and environmental regulatory compliance according to company and relevant government authorities guidelines. This incumbent will be accountable for the entire EHS program at the site operations.
The Role:
Develop, manage, and implement appropriate health and safety procedures per federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
Develop, manage, and implement EHS programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, etc.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and execute compliance requirements for environmental inspections, air emissions, hazardous waste, and industrial wastewater discharges.
Participate in detailed incident investigation teams to determine root causes and corrective and preventive actions.
The Candidate:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant major.
7+ years of leading, developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs.
3+ years of directly managing an EHS team.
Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local OSHA regulations.
CSP, CIH, or other industry-leading certifications are preferred.
