Position Overview:

CYT is offering a paid EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) internship position that will help you develop career-building skills while contributing to safety initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Job Description:
As an EHS Intern at CYT, you will gain practical experience and make a meaningful impact while working closely with seasoned professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
Researching Compliance: Assist in researching key compliance regulations and standards, including NFPA, EPA, and OSHA.
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, organize, and analyze accident, near miss, and environmental data for compliance reporting and investigative purposes.
Safety Program Engagement: Contribute to the promotion and engagement of safety programs across the organization.
In addition to the tasks above, you will develop professional skills in a diverse, multi-lingual environment through:
Cross-departmental Projects: Work on exciting projects with teams from various departments within the facility.
Mentorship: Receive guidance from an experienced EHS professional to support your growth and development.
Ongoing Feedback: Participate in regular feedback sessions to ensure you meet your internship goals and develop key skills for your future career.
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program.
Strong interest in safety, environmental health, and compliance.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and actively contribute to safety initiatives.
