What You'll Do:
As the Supervisor, Distribution Safety & Security, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure work environment for our California distribution center. You will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and implement proactive measures to minimize workplace risks. You will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a culture of safety excellence.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA requirements
Plan and deliver safety training for new and existing employees
Investigate incidents and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions
Lead safety audits and workplace inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, and areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records related to safety training, workplace incidents, and compliance audits
Monitor and analyze workplace safety data, tracking trends, lost-time injuries, and workers' compensation claims to drive improvements
Order and maintain safety supplies to ensure employees have the necessary resources to work safely

You'll Need to Have:
Minimum of four years' experience with primary duties in safety and compliance
Minimum of two years' experience providing workplace safety and compliance training
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, and workplace safety best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects
Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
Able to work a flexible schedule when needed, including nights, weekends and holidays
We'd Love to See:
Bachelor's degree in safety or similar discipline desired, but not required
OSHA 30-Hour Certification or other safety-related certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR/AED)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, coach, and drive a culture of safety
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
Experience with security operations such as facility access control, surveillance systems, and theft prevention
Bilingual in English and Spanish both written and verbal preferred
