We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Manager to support the Head of Trade Marketing in executing and optimizing retail marketing strategies. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, external partners, and retail partners to drive in-store visibility, trade promotions, and sell-through success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution & Coordination
Support the development and execution of retail marketing strategies tailored to both individual brands and retailer-specific needs.
Ensure timely and efficient execution of trade marketing initiatives (sampling & GWPs, digital, events, visual moments etc.), tracking performance metrics and optimizing results.
Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration
Act as the central point of contact between trade marketing, sales, brand teams, and external retail partners to streamline communication.
Work closely with Brand Managers, retailers, and sell-through teams to maximize product visibility and performance.
Vendor & Retailer Engagement
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and retail partners to coordinate in-store activations, merchandising, and promotions.
Oversee production timelines and deliverables for marketing materials, ensuring smooth execution at the retail level.
Tracking, Reporting & Process Optimization
Maintain detailed tracking of trade marketing initiatives, KPIs, sell-through rates, retailer engagement, and promotional effectiveness.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve future activations and strategies.
In-Store Execution & Tactical Decision-Making
Assist in tactical decision-making for in-store promotions, trade activations, and shopper engagement strategies.
Ensure execution excellence for short-term retail initiatives and long-term brand-building efforts.
Manage and audit retailer PDPs, making strategic updates when necessary.
Manage retailer product setup forms, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all required documents and assets.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience.
Department store experience necessary (Neiman Marcus, SAKS, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom preferred.
Strong project management, planning and communication skills.
Organized, attention to detail, good follow through.
