Job Description:

We are growing! Our state-of-the-art facility in Deland has an exciting newly created opportunity for an experienced SMT Supervisor. The SMT Manufacturing Supervisor is a hands-on, working supervisor responsible for all production activities in the assigned manufacturing cell. Reporting to the General Manager, the SMT Manufacturing Supervisor balances efficient daily operations of key production cells including optimization of equipment and personnel with a keen eye on customer deadlines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Subject matter expert for assigned production area
• Oversee the production process providing direction and guidance to the team
• Set performance standards, monitor efficiency and measure throughput
• Plan, coordinate, and allocate work assignments to meet production deadlines
• Address production issues such as scheduling, quality, run time, and changeovers
• Regularly check the quality of work in process, address immediate issues/concerns
• Ability to setup, program, and operate and monitor production equipment
• Document, evaluate, and support existing and new manufacturing processes to facilitate

efficient production throughput and quality
• Optimize production efficiency, safety, quality, costs, and remove waste throughout all processes
• Drive continue improvement to minimize equipment down-time, maximize resource productivity, and improve quality

• Leads and initiates change effectively and is flexible and collaborative in all cross-functional responsibilities
• Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and innovative solution capabilities
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing tools and processes to drive continuous improvement
• Ability to assess and evaluate and effectively review issues, evaluate data and determine key

drivers, causes and issues, and to identify problems and opportunities

In addition to the above, the following are keys to success as an SMT Supervisor:

? Quality is priority # 1. This is non-negotiable. While SMT is a key process at 4Front, it is no more "mistake proof" than any other process. Do not be afraid to involve Quality while investigating possible issues

? Perception is key, be seen and be approachable to not only your employees, but other employees at 4Front. You are a leader; all employees should see you as one

? Learn as much as possible about all aspects of the area

? Communication with your personnel is key. Be sure to effectively communicate expectations to your employees. Do your best to not leave "gaps" for interpretation, your employees should not have to "guess" at you mean when you give them direction

? Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve the SMT area: Quality, efficiency, on time delivery, and accuracy

? Identify gaps in the SMT area technical needs & coordinate training

? Work with the Manufacturing Engineers on continuous improvement projects (quality, efficiency, throughput, response time, etc.)
