Napco, a leading importer in the Garden Center, Grower, Florist, and Gift industries, is looking for a dynamic, highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator of Hard Goods to join our team. This resource's primary focus will be assisting our Product Merchandise and Procurement teams with day-to-day functions.
Responsibilities:
Communicating with overseas factories (in China & other countries).
Sending product development emails to factories and tracking projects.
Developing costing quotations including duty classifications.
Preparing worksheets to order and track samples.
Setting up items in our computer systems, Oracle and Filemaker.
Coordinating both air and boat shipping of new line samples.
Coordinating sample distribution to our domestic showrooms in the U.S..
Assisting in direct import custom orders from inception to completion.
Managing and maintaining spreadsheets to track purchase orders, due dates, and changes weekly.
Analyzing inventory sales and delivering data to assist in procurement and maintaining inventory levels.
Vetting new factories and product offerings sent by overseas solicitation.
Setting up new vendors in Oracle WMS.
Monitoring and problem-solving any delays. product adjustments, QC issues, and conveying that data to all parties involved through resolution and final product receipt.
Communicating data between our vendors, product development team, and key account managers.
Qualifications:
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Skilled in multitasking & owning projects end-to-end.
Able to work on-site up to 5 days a week.
Oracle WMS experience preferred.
Tableau experience preferred.
