Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Take the lead in setting project priorities, identifying risks, and crafting proactive mitigation plans with cross-functional teams, all while ensuring tight deadlines are met.
Build and track project schedules with precision, working closely with functional teams to streamline workflows and keep data up to date in the project management system.
Steer project status meetings, address risks head-on, resolve challenges with your team, and escalate issues to key stakeholders when necessary to keep everything on track.
Drive the development and maintenance of key project milestones, overseeing production processes and ensuring all workflows are efficient, documented, and aligned with the project timeline.
Partner with two senior managers to tackle a range of project-related tasks, helping them stay organized, on track, and focused on meeting deadlines.
Qualifications of the Project Manager:
College degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in project management, ideally in publishing or a related field.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage timelines and collaborate with diverse teams.
Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront is a plus, but not mandatory.
Ability to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with ease.
