Project Engineer International Motors, LLC - is seeking a Project Engineer Sr. in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR Masters degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities Required Skills: Design and develop Electronic Systems Architecture & Electrical Wiring including multiple current and next advanced Powertrains (e.g., Battery Electric, Propane, Natural Gas, and Hydrogen Cell Powertrains) for Full-Size Trucks (US GVWR classifications Classes 4-8 and American Bus Class Types A-D School Buses) (3 yrs); Lead and guide engineering teams, fostering expertise in electrical wiring design, circuit diagram development, and electrical topology formulation, with a focus on enhancing manufacturing processes and achieving quality and cost efficiencies (3 yrs); Develop Vehicle Electrical Architecture, leveraging tools such as NX, NDP, Mentor Graphics XC, Team Center, and CDMS to transition from conceptual frameworks to full-scale production (3 yrs) Troubleshoot any electrical issues and oversee the diagnostic processes and repair protocols for Electrical Harnesses, employing diagnostic software such as Allison DOC, Cummins Insite, Eaton Service Ranger, and IVEST VEPS stations to ensure operational integrity and reliability (3 yrs). 12 % domestic travel and 4% international travel required; Must live within normal commuting distance of Lisle, IL.
