As an Investment Analyst at Texas PSF Corporation, you'll play a key role in researching markets, analyzing investment opportunities, and supporting senior investment officers in portfolio management. This is a hands-on role where you'll apply financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling to real-world decisions, working alongside experienced professionals in both public and private markets.

We're looking for someone with prior internships or junior-level experience in finance, investments who is ready to step up, take ownership of projects, and contribute to a dynamic investment team. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to deepen your expertise in asset management, this role is for you.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

  • Market & Investment Research:
  • Scan public and private markets for emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct macro and microeconomic research to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor daily market movements for public investments and track private investment performance on a weekly basis
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling:
  • Assist in analyzing financial statements and valuation metrics for potential investments.
  • Support senior team members in financial modeling and data validation.
  • Help create reports that assess liquidity and risk across different asset classes.
  • Due Diligence & Portfolio Support:
  • Assist in the due diligence process by compiling research, maintaining deal flow databases, and organizing investment materials.
  • Support senior investment officers and AVPs in evaluating current and new investment opportunities.
  • Track and document investment performance, reviewing key financial data and risk factors.
  • Operations & Administrative Support:
  • Manage investment calendars and schedule due diligence meetings.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and memos summarizing investment insights.
  • Keep investment records organized and updated for ongoing portfolio monitoring.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in investment or financial analysis is a plus. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or financial modeling software is a bonus.
  • Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or other relevant finance certifications.
