Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.
What you will be doing:
The eCommerce Manager is a key leader who is responsible for the performance and consumer experience of our Osprey.com website. This role will partner with various teams including Marketing, Product Development, Creative, Supply Planning, Marketing Center of Excellence, I.T., Sales, Customer Service and more to ensure our owned brand DTC website continues to meet/exceed key business goals.
Manage and monitor the DTC online store performance and consumer experience. Contribute to the overall technology and site roadmap for the Osprey website, keeping up with trends such as social shopping, mobile checkout, AI, evolving digital UX/UI design. Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of new functionality or 3rd party tool integration for the website that will positively impact revenue and drive conversions. Own the end-to-end performance of Osprey's website, working with Analytics team to report on site KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Partner with Marketing, Supply Planning, Data Analysts, Sales and Operations to develop and drive seasonal merchandising plans and execute on marketing plans
Provide input into the overall prioritization process for evaluating new site features and enhancements, structuring appropriate experimentation roadmap
Partner with other members of the Marketing, COE, Digital Experience team and IT to ensure site roadmap and performance KPIs are met and exceeded.
Partner with DTC Analysts and IT to ensure correct tracking is in place on sites for accurate revenue, conversion and goal reporting
Partner with Marketing, PLM, CS and Social teams to syndicate, monitor and coordinate responses to customer reviews
Work closely with the Marketing team to maximize on-site SEO strategies
Work closely with internal experts and external partners to create great search user experiences to maximize on-site performance and revenue
Work closely with Marketing, PLM and external partners to develop and implement long-term PackFinder strategies to maximize usability and profits
Manage and monitor promo codes for Osprey
Drive the development and execution of a robust DTC Ecommerce strategy, factoring in industry trends, best practices, competitive strength/weaknesses, governing policies, and regulations to drive continued growth and expansion of Osprey direct-to-consumer business
Develop and manage DTC Ecommerce website product strategy
Develop and manage programs that drive site conversion and repeat visit
Partner with Marketing and Content teams to develop a robust seasonal content calendar identifying new landing pages blending content, creative and product to maximize branding and revenue
Partner with Product Development on the evolution and continued growth of emerging categories, products, exclusives and collabs
Develop and manage site promotions and merchandising strategies
Partner with digital marketing for consumer acquisition, retention and loyalty strategies
Achieve targeted Osprey DTC Ecommerce sales plans, align key KPIs to deliver the functional goals for the business and manage those KPIs in support of the ongoing plan. Align with company's strategic plan/budget to meet or exceed goals.
Partner with the COE - Experience and Performance Marketing, Category Marketing, Brand Strategy, Digital Experience, Data Analysts, Finance, Sales and CS to develop and drive marketing plans
Working in close partnership with other roles and team members across the Consumer Experience team via Osprey's values and culture approaches to effectively achieve your goals and priorities. Provide expertise to influence overarching marketing strategies that will align with shared DTC goals.
Ensure DTC Ecommerce priorities, goals and values are supported the by the DTC team
Provides indirect leadership to Digital Experience team members regarding best-in-class Ecommerce consumer experience
Exhibit and foster best practices regarding effective time use/meeting, communication, and cross-functional teamwork
Celebrate and recognize team members on a regular basis
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Passion for driving eCommerce revenue with prior relevant roles
Knowledge of digital marketing and the current marketing technology landscape is a plus
Aptitude for analytical and data-driven thinking
Experience indirectly managing, mentoring, and influencing team members with track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships across functional divisions within an organization to enable success.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
Self-motivated with a track record showing a "can-do" attitude and a passion for your work
Flexible and responsive to change
Presentation, oral and written communication skills required.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities for DTC Ecommerce
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
In Colorado, the standard base pay range for this role is $92,321 - $122,975 annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
