This Nuclear Project Manager I position will manage projects and programs, overseeing planning, scheduling, and control of activities with minimal oversight. The role involves leading a project team of five to ten people, establishing project priorities, and maintaining knowledge of all project aspects. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, coordinating with finance and project controls, and recommending process improvements to enhance effectiveness. The position requires proficiency in all aspects of project management. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $47.79 - $82.02

Responsibilities:
Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work, ensuring safety, quality, on-time, and on-budget implementation
Oversee project staff in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring work
Develop budgets and track cost versus budget for assigned projects
Prepare work packages, procure parts, and plan for ALARA, industrial, and nuclear safety
Prioritize work, allocate resources, manage risk, and resolve schedule delays and conflicts
Develop and manage contracts and coordinate with vendors
Develop and manage project schedules, focusing on risk management, progress tracking, and critical path management
Communicate progress and project details to various groups, including senior management
Develop and maintain long-term strategies for assigned projects
Support the implementation of the Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program
Provide outage support, including OCC
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 8 years experience in a technical field
OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 10 years experience in a technical field
OR High School Diploma/GED AND 12 years experience in a technical field
RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification
Project Management Certification
Construction Management Certification
Work experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focused on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction
Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in coordinating plant production work
Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies
Experience managing projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage management activities
Proficiency in standard project management techniques
Experience at a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant or similar facility (desired)
Familiarity with project management and budget process software
Ability to evaluate organizational, personal, technical, and effective maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and performance
Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and engineering work activities
Familiarity with procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities
Skilled in software programs such as Passport and MS Office
