Job Title - AWS Engineer

Location - Phoenix, AZ/New York Onsite

Full time

Experience Range - 8+ years

Technical/Functional Skills

• 5+ years' experience in cloud computing
• Experience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in basic administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB and/or ElasticSearch
• Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.)
• Knowledgeable about networking and security
• Knowledgeable about configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
• Strong Hands on experience with one or more programming languages ( Python or Java).
• Experience with CICD pipelines, Automated test frameworks, DevOps and source code management tools (XLR, Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Strong communication and analytical skills including effective presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile & scrum ceremonies."

Roles & Responsibility :

• Work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of AWS projects, including migration, containerization and transformation
• Write infrastructure as code
• Perform AWS environment troubleshooting and setup
• Meet customer SLAs and managing communication in case of issues
• Configure and maintain backup, monitoring and alerting systems for multiple clients
• Interact with teams and customers to ensure 24/7 support
• Administrate automated deployments and scripting using Bash, PowerShell and/or Python
• Participate in work sessions with clients
• Complete technical documentation
• Deliver quality work in agile team environment
