The Quality Inspector monitors and maintains dimensional and cosmetic quality throughout the various operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in verifying dimensional and cosmetic requirements.
Audit paperwork for correct counts and signoffs.
Inspect paperwork, parts on pallets & storage of stock to ensure ISO compliance.
Maintain inspection equipment for cleanliness and accuracy.
Incoming inspection of all vendor-made products.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of metal fabrication drawings
Understanding of metal fabrication process (CNC machining, conventional machining, punch, form, weld)
Mathematical skills
Ability to multi-task and work multiple priorities while maintaining tight deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Windows, email, file management
Experience with 2D/3D CAD and Acrobat software is a plus
Must be able to maintain a good rapport with vendors and customers
Must possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education/Certification:
5 or more years of experience in custom manufacturing of sheet metal parts, processes, and methods
*Will train with appropriate background experience
