We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Bescast. This role focuses on reducing scrap, improving processes, and developing products that support a strong and efficient manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and production teams in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality aerospace and industrial castings.
Responsibilities:
Develop manufacturing methods that improve efficiency and maintain quality.
Collaborate with customers to define part specifications and ensure compliance.
Identify and address sources of scrap and rework to improve product yield.
Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to optimize production.
Analyze tooling and casting processes to enhance consistency and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in Investment Casting (preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel, and Minitab.
Understanding of SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles.
Effective communication skills for working with customers, shop floor teams, and leadership.
