Role Description:

The Program Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating various programs and projects within the company's portfolio. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and guidance to teams and project managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the smooth progression of operations. We are looking for a strong leader with experience in managing diverse teams to deliver results on time. The primary objective is to ensure that all programs achieve the desired outcomes for the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop, organize, and monitor project and program dependencies.
  • Establish and implement strategies and objectives to drive program excellence.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple projects and teams.
  • Lead and assess the performance of project managers and other team members.
  • Set and manage deadlines, budgets, and program activities.
  • Manage change, risk, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Oversee resource assignments for the program.
  • Evaluate program performance and ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Address and resolve higher-level scope issues within projects.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to executive leadership.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 7-10 years of experience in Program Management, preferably with a background in publishing, education, or EdTech.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field required.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
  • Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
