Now, we're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our team and help optimize our purchasing process.
What You Will Do:
As our Purchasing Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping us make smarter buying decisions and keeping our inventory stocked with the right materials at the right time. You'll analyze data, forecast trends, and work with our suppliers to get the best deals. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
? Analyzing purchasing data to spot trends and help us make more informed buying decisions.
? Tracking inventory levels and helping forecast demand so we always have what we need (but not too much!).
? Evaluating supplier performance and making recommendations on who we should stick with and who we might want to reconsider.
? Assisting in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
? Preparing reports on our purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
? Working closely with our operations team to ensure materials are delivered on time and in the right amounts.
? Keeping up with industry trends, price changes, and new products through market research.
What We Are Looking For:
? You've got a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or something related.
? You've spent a couple of years (2+ preferred) in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (bonus if it's in roofing or construction materials!).
? You're great with numbers and data-Excel is your best friend.
? You've got solid communication and negotiation skills.
? You're detail-oriented, organized, and can handle a fast-paced work environment.
? You're a team player but can also work independently when needed.

Schedule:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, you might need to roll up your sleeves on the weekend, depending on the workload.
