Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Master Scheduler to take full ownership of production scheduling, inventory management, and machine planning at our manufacturing facility. This is a high-impact role requiring a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive efficiency with vision, leadership, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Scheduling: Develop, manage, and optimize the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery while maximizing machine and labor efficiency.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee and maintain inventory levels, ensuring materials are available while minimizing excess stock and waste.
  • Machine Planning: Coordinate machine utilization and capacity planning, adjusting schedules as needed to meet demand fluctuations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and procurement to align production schedules with business needs.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks, supply chain disruptions, and scheduling conflicts to maintain seamless operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing and scheduling best practices to enhance productivity, efficiency, and inventory usage.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize ERP/MRP systems and analytics to forecast demand, adjust schedules, and drive planning improvements.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with customer purchasing/scheduling contacts and internal Venture employees. Able to converse well, bring alignment, and professionally set expectations of others.

Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing Experience - 5+ years in scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • MS Excel. 5+ years of experience and capable of complex formulas, charts/tables, and troubleshooting.
  • Proactive & Assertive Leader - You take charge, solve problems independently, and keep things running smoothly without constant oversight.
  • Strong Organizational & Analytical Skills - You can juggle multiple priorities, analyze data, and make fast, strategic decisions.
  • Tech-Savvy - Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Syteline/Infor, SAP, Oracle, etc.), Excel, and data-driven scheduling.
  • Excellent Communication - Ability to collaborate across teams, negotiate priorities, and drive results.
  • Preference for APICS, CPIM, or other relevant certifications.
