Job Description:

Omnia Technologies is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer support. As a key member of our after-sales team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient inventory management of parts and components, ensuring on time support exceeding customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support: Handle aftersales inquiries, including spare parts and warranty claims, via email and phone.
  • Parts & Inventory Management: Oversee parts processing, tracking, and inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
  • Warehouse & Logistics: Support warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, and organizing parts. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming parts to ensure they meet Omnia Technologies' standards and customer expectations. Address any discrepancies with Italian OEMs in a timely manner.
  • Field Service Support: Coordinate necessary parts and materials with Field Engineers to support immediate resolution actions, preventive maintenance efforts and line equipment upgrades.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in parts/component management, customer support efforts, and Italian OEM procurement processes.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prior experience in a parts, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role preferred. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to group objectives.
  • On-Site Presence: Ability to work onsite full-time in Santa Rosa, CA.
  • Technical Background: Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP experience is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator with a variety of customers, overseas suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
