Job Description:

This job is located in the Minneapolis/St Paul Area - must be able to come into the office a few days a week.

The Associate CLO Product Designer will design and develop Pet, Home and Toy Products. Responsible for developing trends, color, fabrications, silhouettes, for upcoming season as well a working with the China office to develop original textiles and patterns.

Job Duties:
• Bring designs to life In Clo3D software.
• Maintain an awareness of current market trends in Pet and Home and incorporate this knowledge into new designs.
• Coordinate with Product Managers to understand and address requirements for customers, pricing, construction processes and materials.
• Engage in ongoing research and development of new inspiration and ideas utilizing relevant new finishes, colors, and fabrics, and key techniques.
• Apply creativity and originality in group and individual brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas.
• Create silhouette, fabric and construction specifications that are sent to factories to use for product development. Prepare art with necessary specifications of color and repeat so it can be used for fabric mass production.
• Review and revise the design of factory samples to conform to specifications and cost.
• Execute final artwork for presentations to the customers.
• Travel may be required

Qualification:
• BA/BS or equivalent in Fashion/Apparel/Textiles
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required

• APP tools: Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools,
• Experience with taking photos and retouching photos via Photoshop
• Knowledge of Textiles
• Excellent design color sense.
• Ability to translate market trends to product and adapt to the brand aesthetic.

Pay Range is $40,000 - $50,000.
