Our client, a highly respected company based in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Benefits Specialist on a temporary basis. This role will focus on providing assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding benefits administration and support.
The duration of this role will be 3 months and is based 100% in-office in Vancouver, WA.
Responsibilities
Collaborate as a team player to meet company and departmental objectives.
Develop and maintain expertise in benefit plans, carriers, internal guidelines, and processes.
Respond promptly and effectively to client and employee inquiries regarding benefits offerings.
Ensure accurate and compliant participant enrollments and terminations per carrier, company, and regulatory guidelines.
Prepare and review client-facing reports and communication materials using provided templates.
Configure and audit the online employee enrollment portal as needed.
Monitor internal enrollment reports, reconcile invoices, and calculate adjustments to ensure accurate payroll deductions.
Follow internal operational processes, including data entry and documentation in CRM.
Support Benefits Consultants during sales, onboarding, and open enrollment, which may include on-site enrollment assistance.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and role.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in group benefits administration
Prior experience utilizing HRIS systems
Strong customer service skills with a professional and responsive approach
