ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
At the direction and under the guidance of the NERC Compliance Manager, administers the compliance programs' support functions including but not limited to monitoring, reviewing, and assessing new and existing NERC regulations to comprehend their business effects on AECC.
Assists in the facilitation of AECC's compliance reporting, including but not limited to, self-certifications, self-reporting, and data submittals for NERC compliance matters, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
Collaborates with AECC's subject matter experts and functional area management to ensure compliance with all NERC regulations; Participates in professional development workshops and conferences hosted by FERC, NERC, and regional compliance entities as needed.
Develops and maintains effective and collaborative working relationships, communication approaches, and engagement with internal staff; Ensures engagement with applicable external parties and serves as AECC's project designee for NERC audits, mock audits, investigations, and mitigation plans.
Under the direction of the NERC Compliance Manager, provides internal support services for compliance activities; Participates in the evaluation of AECC's existing processes and procedures while suggesting compliance improvements and working collaboratively with AECC's subject matter experts and functional area management to identify and implement process improvements.
The ability to communicate effectively, engage collaboratively and support a high-performing team are essential functions of this position.
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology, Information Assurance, or similar field
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage and meet overlapping and demanding deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to understand the business context that informs compliance-related issues
Ability to quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of NERC Reliability Standards
Analyst I - 1-year consecutive employment in any environment
Analyst II -3 Years of related experience
Analyst III - 5 Years of related experience
PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Advanced degree in related field
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Primarily sedentary with moderate noise levels in some short-term work environments
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
May be required to lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs.
Moderately repetitive type of work which requires concentration in the performance of tasks
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hybrid work model contingent upon manager and Division VP approval and consistent with approved policies
May require intermittent travel < 10% to Plants and other office locations in and around Arkansas.
