Job Summary: Greenskies is seeking an Installer Partner Manager to support its growing renewable energy project pipeline. The role encompasses establishing relationships with new installers and maintaining relationships with existing installers. The Manager will build and upkeep a database of viable installation contractors for the Construction team to utilize. A successful candidate thrives in a team setting and will interact with construction, engineering, operations & maintenance, and legal teams, as well as external parties. The Installer Partner Manager reports directly to the VP of EPC.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Find, qualify, and onboard experienced electrical, civil, structural, and roofing contractors throughout the United States. Establish relationships. Target contractors in states where Greenskies is planning to build new assets. Research, email, call, and meet with contractors at trade shows as necessary.
Own and maintain a centralized database of contractors nationwide. Lead the vetting process. Act as the first point of contact between Greenskies and potential new contractors.
Sustain existing contractor relationships. Grade contractors via metrics and feedback from Construction and O&M teams.
Create contractor KPIs. Collect contractor performance feedback at project completion and utilize that data to upkeep the centralized database of qualified partners.
Advise the preliminary EPC budgeting team by providing contractor-related cost assumptions and price trends. As needed, send preliminary designs to contractors to get budgetary numbers.
Mediate conflicts and disputes that arise. Lead negotiations through resolution.
Recommend best fit contractor(s) to Construction team when new projects reach EPC team ownership.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in project management, contract management, construction management, services procurement, or similar.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, construction administration, or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience related to construction of electrical or power generation is preferred.
Proficient at reading plans and specs.
