Rush Street Gaming and its affiliates, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, have developed and operate successful casinos in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Des Plaines, Illinois (Chicago area), Schenectady, New York and Portsmouth, Virginia (Hampton Roads area). Rush Street Gaming and its affiliates has become one of the leading casino developers in the United States

The Vice President of Development is responsible for sourcing new land-based development projects for Rush Street Gaming, both domestically and globally. Responsibilities will include finding and securing real estate sites as well cultivating development partners in applicable markets. It is anticipated the role will require a substantial amount of travel. This position is based in Chicago and the VP will be expected to live local to the Corporate office.

Duties and Responsibilities - Functional
  • Engage and partner with host communities in potential new RSG markets.
  • Actively pursue real estate sites consistent with development goals and strategy.
  • Actively network with gaming industry professionals to enhance Rush Street Gaming's profile
  • Collaborate with RSG executive team to define development goals and strategic priorities. Collaborate with other members of the RSG development team in identifying markets and sites that demonstrate promise from a market feasibility standpoint (based on internal or external analysis).
  • Collaborate with government relations team regarding new market strategies.
  • Collaborate with finance team to help develop financial modeling for new projects.
  • Represent RSG at industry conferences that grow the companies' development network.
  • Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by Rush Street Gaming entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 5 years business development experience with proven success specifically in the gaming industry.

  • Communicate company direction, strategy, and operational performance to wider team, as appropriate.
  • Drive RSG team strategy and initiatives (e.g., annual Key Initiatives) and ensure regular updates to the property on progress of key initiatives and provide timeline for accomplishing these goals.
  • Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with property leadership.

Depending on relevancy of skills and experience, salary range for role is $225,000.00 - $400,000.00 and a target bonus of 35% of annual base compensation earned based on individual and company performance.
