MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (2nd shift, Mon.-Fri. 2 PM - 11 PM)
Salary Range: $35.00 - $40.00 + $2.00 shift premium for 2nd shift.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Skilled Maintenance Team Members support the production, quality, cost and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities. Responsible for preventive maintenance, process and equipment improvements, effective troubleshooting and repairs. These responsibilities include:
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, systems or machine components. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, and other electronic equipment.
• Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
To perform this job successfully, the applicable candidate must be a team player and able to make decisions under pressure with a cross functional team of individuals. The additional requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• High School graduate. GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of successful experience with CNC mills and lathes including 5-Axis Mills and dual spindle CNC lathes with live tooling or equivalent related experience or transferable skills strongly preferred
• Experience with one or more of the following CNC control systems: Okuma, Fanuc, or Allen Bradley or CNC machining certificate preferred
• PLC experience is a must. Programming knowledge and machining codes helpful but not necessary
• Strong math skills
• Experience installing, aligning, and commissioning 5 axis machines in fabrication environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, drawings and blueprints.
• Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude, and repair abilities.
• Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Capable of rebuilding pumps, valve, and cylinders
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools as well as heavy equipment.
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and various raw materials helpful.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
• Analytic thinker that gets to the root of problems and comes up with permanent solutions to remedy issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed Capable of lifting 40 pounds, with or without assistance and working at heights.
