The IN-TRAC Scientific Education Program Supervisor will manage IN-TRAC assigned operational tasks, coordinating and supervising the various day-to-day administrative functions pertaining to the program. This role will focus on streamlining processes, eliminating duplicative efforts, and improving efficiencies. This is a part-time, benefit-ineligible position working approximately 5-10 hours per week. This is a grant-funded position estimated to be completed in February 2027.


· Coordinate with participants in IN-TRAC to submit grant applications to external and internal funding agencies. This includes coordination with as the Office of Sponsored Programs.

· Act as liaison between IN-TRAC leaders and participants; coordinates collaboration between program cores.

· Input data and manage the Dropbox data collection sites for IN-TRAC program activities (e.g. grants, papers, abstracts, awards, etc.

· Develops, initiates and leads work projects for the development and implementation of process improvements, and policies and procedures in IN-TRAC that align with strategic goals.

· Assist IN-TRAC leaders in identifying opportunities to streamline, improve, and/or automate business processes while actively implementing changes as needed.

· Maintain regular communication with IN-TRAC leaders and reporting related to upcoming tasks and deadlines and assist as needed.

· Strategic event coordination: assist or lead the planning and execution of IN-TRAC events, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.

· Stakeholder liaison: collaborate with Texas Biomed staff to determine event requirements, schedule activities, book necessary resources, and oversee the smooth operation of all IN-TRC participant needs during events.

· Operational management: review or implement efficient systems for resource allocation and logistics to ensure IN-TRAC events run flawlessly.

· Data management: maintain accurate attendance logs and create and conduct comprehensive survey interviews to gather valuable feedback for continuous improvement.

· Problem solving: address and resolve any issues that arise during event planning and execution with a solution-oriented approach.


Our Ideal Candidate:

· Requires Master's degree in Biological/Life Sciences, education and management. Doctoral Degree preferred.

· Two (2) years of relevant experience required. Demonstrated evidence of independent research management required.

· Proven experience in research and management operations.

· Must demonstrate strong technical skills relevant to IN-TRAC's mission and goals

· Must exhibit leadership qualities and good communication skills.

· Must have extensive knowledge of IN-TRAC operations and procedures and a strong understanding of IN-TRAC's organizational processes.
